In 2007 I partnered with artist Amy Franceschini to bring the Victory Gardens of WWI and WWII into a modern context. The project culminated with the construction of 15 urban Victory Gardens, a publication, an exhibit at SFMOMA and a Victory Garden planted in front of San Francisco City Hall for Slow Food Nation 2008.
